A JOURNEY INTO THE ABYSS is about a determined and brilliant scientist named Beatrice, whose sole focus is to travel beyond the planets and into the realm of stars‒a task which is entangled in her grief for the loss of her spouse, Alcofrisbas, who died on a previous mission to the stars.

After many failed attempts, Beatrice does the unthinkable and recruits the disgraced pioneering explorer, Professor Barbenfouillis, to help her complete this impossible mission.
