When have the winds ever favoured Esen?

With magic users being hunted down, Esen has always been forced to hide her true self.  In her attempt to flee, she accidentally crosses swords with Captain Alara and her crew. It quickly becomes clear that perhaps they can help each other.  Alara proposes that, in exchange for safe passage, Esen must help her recapture her stolen ship out in the bay.  It’s an offer she cannot refuse.

Through swashbuckling action, a smidge of justice, comedy, and chemistry, Esen risks exposing herself as a mage, and neither her or Alara may make it out alive.  Will the winds ever be in their favour?
